Just a little visual for the new year. This is an older piece called “First Fish” that I did as a digital “woodcut” with digital “ink.” Another version of this image accompanied an article that I wrote about my wife’s first trout on a fly.
The FF&W [blog] is meant to provide a flow of educational fly-fishing links, articles, and media, as well as a splash of news and art. I hope that you enjoy the read.

Grunde—Perfect timing! I was actually thinking about offering it as a desktop, so I’ll go ahead and do the necessary image work. Expect it in a day or so at the most. I’ll put up a smaller range of sizes (likely 1024X768 through 1920X1200), since few people are still running lower res, and only a limited number have truly huge monitors. Does your system fall in that range?
