Fly Fishing Show – Bellevue + Portland (again)

(Just bumping up a previous post…)

I have confirmed that I’ll be doing casting demos at the Bellevue, Washington (Feb. 6-8) and Portland, Oregon (Feb. 14-15) Fly Fishing Shows. If you have the burning desire for up-close-and-personal discussions of the Foundation Casting Stroke, the Three-Step Exercise, In-The-Air Mends, and more, mark the date(s) on your calendar. Although not finalized yet, I am guessing that I’ll be droning on endlessly giving lively talks about presentation, nymphing, or similar subjects, as well.

If any FF&W readers can make it, it would be good to see you at either show…

    Jason,
I look foward to meeting you there. I am not sure how much interaction I will be able to accomplish. I will be bringing my 2yr old daughter with me. Can’t start them young enough when it comes to fishing. See you there!

Stan—You might think about getting your daughter something like a Fly-O or Micro Practice Rod (may be some at the show for a discount). She may not be ready for practice, but she can sire have fun inside with the little rod and yarn…

I tried that with a small rod that I found at a garage sale. Now the dog is scared to go near her.

    Cats are often more receptive…
