Shadow Capture
Just finished the latest FCI Clinic here in Missoula. It was a great 2 1/2 days, and for those FCI clients who are reading, Josh is already hard at work on your motion-capture CDs.
When we were setting up the cameras and hardware, I had the chance to do a few capture runs myself. After all these years, we realized that we had never captured the infamous shadow cast, and with the Blu-Ray version of “the movie” due at the end of the month, we figured “why not?”
The capture appears to have suffered from a tracking bug (of course), but there may still be enough solid data points to get a decent movie file up here soon. We also got a few quick pix with a still camera, including one that shows just how deeply one can bend a rod using one’s rotator cuff.
Word to the wise: Don’t try this at home…
