Fishing (Still) Life: TCL (August 2007)

One more still life from the archives while I prepare the next terrestrial-fishing piece. I like the interplay of similar colors in this shot, and the way those colors reflect the tropical heat and “flavor” of the location (Yucatan peninsula).

This was taken at Tarpon Cay a couple of years ago, a few days before Hurricane Dean sent us home on the “last plane out.” The fishing prior to Dean was much like this shot—red hot.
