I forgot to mention that I made a couple of small contributions (emphasis on the “small” part) to this project: a fly pattern (the Cross Dresser) and a short techniques piece. Authors Rick Takahashi and Jerry Hubka put some serious effort into this book (with tyers from all over the world contributing), and the finished product has garnered seemingly universal approval. Good work guys, and I’m pleased to have been a (small) part of it!

"Fly Fishing, the Book Series" was begun in 2010 as a collaboration between Gary Borger's Tomorrow River Press and Fish, Flies & Water. This planned 20-book series will explore a huge range of fly-fishing topics over 5+ years. The books are available signed/personalized by GB from his eBay store. Unsigned copies (at the basic retail price) are available here or from other angling book retailers.

How do you tie the “cross dresser”. This one is probably one of the one that I like in the book. Anything will help even photo from the top too. Thanks Leng
