If that happens to be a 120-foot boomer in casting competition, or a drag-killing 25-footer on a spring creek, or a 70-foot quick-shot on the flats in a stiff breeze, then that's what it needs to be. However, I think the perfect cast is what is needed at the moment; sometimes they need to be super accurate and sometimes they need to be super long.
