Satoshi—Nelson's holds many stories for me. With April weather who knows exactly what you'll find. A few trailing-shuck Griffith's Gnats (perhaps clipped on the bottom and even fished "damp") would be good for the box, as would a few trailing-shuck soft-hackles, in olives and grays, in small sizes, fished floating or damp (I think you likely have those covered).

Jason,
I am planning to fish Nelson's for the first time in April besides Armstrong's. Somehow I am not good nor lucky at Depuy's. I am both excited and scared to find out some technical situation as this jelly water.
BTW, I stole and adapted the velcro idea with MPR in my backyard. It became more than fun, very realistic to me. Besides improving my casting, the situation reminds me of casting to baetis and midge risers, which I would encounter at the creeks in April. I have posted my experience (joke and humor) at my blog!
If my casting is not good or not so many hatches going on, well then I would go with sculpin patterns at creeks.....
