After heading over to Van Nuys Blvd. to order up a #2 at my old favorite In-N-Out Burger (I ate there more than I should have when I lived in LA), I’m now in Pasadena getting ready for tomorrow’s show. Hope to see a few FF&W readers over the weekend (I’m doing casting clinics and demos both days, and also pontificating on some of the technical aspects of trout fishing).

"Fly Fishing, the Book Series" was begun in 2010 as a collaboration between Gary Borger's Tomorrow River Press and Fish, Flies & Water. This planned 20-book series will explore a huge range of fly-fishing topics over 5+ years. The books are available signed/personalized by GB from his eBay store. Unsigned copies (at the basic retail price) are available here or from other angling book retailers.

Great class!! I was lucky enough to get a spot on Jason’s casting clinic. Amazing stuff. For anyone that hasn’t taken Jason’s class, take it. It’s an eye opener! I really appreciate the mind set of using whatever technique “makes the physics work for you”, but elegantly.

Bruno—Thanks for coming to the clinic. I had a good time with everyone, and it was also good to see some pretty fancy casting going on (some of it yours)!
I’ll have to go “animal” on #2 next time. Have to say that In-N-Out is my fave of the fast-food places anywhere. Miss it in Portland, although Burgerville does some pretty cool seasonal/local types of burgers and shakes.
