An old friend from LA, Al Quattrocchi, has been quite active in conservation efforts in Southern California. One of the projects that he has been a key player in is the “One Surf Fly” event. The most recent “OSF” was just completed with some $1,600 going toward the Matilija Dam project. If you are in SoCal, and looking for something to do to help further water/fisheries conservation (and want to fish with a group of like-minded anglers), check out the OSF.
The FF&W [blog] is meant to provide a flow of educational fly-fishing links, articles, and media, as well as a splash of news and art. I hope that you enjoy the read.
