JB- Nothing like getting up from nice siesta and have to be thrown into drawing a fly! Ditto to Roberts comment! Reminds me of the old Batman shows. Too bad there wasn’t a “Chirono the Crumedgeon” villain in the cast of characters! Nice job!

Hey Jason, I echo the previous sentiment,it looks super hero-like to me too! The only thing missing is a word bubble with ZAP,POW,or BAM in it.The chironomid strikes again!

Yes, 11pm makes the DF52 project just that much more “interesting” (that’s code for panic).

You pretty much got what I was after with the comic-book-style background. Just did it with less structure and perhaps a bit more subtlety. I had the fly done pretty fast, and it was just boring to me, so I though, “It just needs some X-Men-style energy or perhaps a ‘pow’.” And there it is.

Santiam, campfire, trout. Where do I sign up? Are you taking reservations? ;-)

I know you love those 11 PM reminders, ;-). First thing that comes to mind is a “pow” image from Pop artist Roy Lichtenstein, especially with that yellow burst. Perhaps one of these days we can wet a fly on the Santiam at TCC…for some native cutthroats…
