Wishing My NZ Friends Safety
To all of my NZ friends, I truly hope that the earthquake near the Christchurch area has not affected you or your families in any tragic way. Seeing downtown Christchurch on the news here late last night here made my heart sink. I recognized some of the places (a few partly smashed or with rubble nearby) from my angling visits and from when I was a student there in the city years ago. I’m sure that any FF&W readers who have been to NZ and/or have friends in the Christchurch area, join me in wishing and hoping the absolute best for everyone there considering the damaging and tragic circumstances.
