Drawing Fish 52 – 30_Golden Trout
Another all-digital “flag fish” as with the striped bass and the Yellowstone cutthroat. Feeling more comfortable with the process to create this style of illustration in a few minutes, so had more time to add some extra visual texture. I didn’t go so much for conservation symbolism with this one as I did an image that simply reflects the fish itself and where it is found. For those readers who have caught Kern River drainage goldens, you know that this flag, even with its rich colors, doesn’t do those fish justice. Hope a few readers like this one as much as the previous two flag fish.
